The Elephant & Castle
The Elephant and Castle has 13 motel units, all en-suite with televisions, fridges, microwaves and tea and coffee making facilities. Traditional english breakfast is served in the restaurant of the pub every morning.
We welcome contractors to our rooms, along with families and business people. The Elephant and Castle opens every evening from 6pm, and from 12 noon on Sundays. We welcome group bookings, and can accommodate meetings or parties during the day by advance bookings.

The Elephant and Castle is a family owned freehouse situated in the tranquill hamlet of Wood Walton, only a few minutes from the major routes of the A1 and A14, 6 miles to the north of Huntingdon and 10 miles south of Peterborough. The historic hamlet of Wood Walton is famous for its picturesque de-consecrated church, and beautiful countryside, including the group of horse chestnut trees in the centre, opposite The Elephant and Castle.
The pub serves traditional beers, and a wide choice of spirits and soft drinks, and supports local darts and pool teams. The current owner has introduced a successful Chinese restaurant and take away. So The Elephant and Castle has become a pub with a twist! There is a 20 seater restaurant serving Chinese food 7 days a week, and the takeaways fly out!
